Semaglutide is a GLP-1 that increases the body's production of insulin, inhibits glucagon and decreases appetite. Studies have shown up to a 10 pound weight loss, or more, within 1 month of initiating treatment along with proper diet and exercise. The combination of Semaglutide with Cyanocobalamin (B12), a vitamin that boosts energy and assists in burning of stored body fat, has proven to decrease GI upset when compounded together. Semaglutide is most effective for individuals with a BMI of 30 or greater; or individuals with a BMI of 27-29.9 with at least 1 related weight-induced comorbidity such as hypertension, high cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Exclusionary criteria for Semaglutide includes but not limited to: 

• Family or personal history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
• Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
• Allergies/Hypersensitivity to GLP-1
• Gastroparesis
• Pancreatitis/history of pancreas disorder
• Diabetes Mellitus Type 1
